IUPAC PERIODIC TABLE CHALLENGE
IUPAC IS hosting an online quiz about the Periodic Table of the Elements. The online challenge will be aimed at a global audience of young students. Questions about the elements will quiz their knowledge and inform them of the relevant work of IUPAC.
The global challenge will be launched in January 2019 and is available all year until the end of 2019.
PERIODIC TABLE OF YOUNGER CHEMISTS
Furthermore, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of IUPAC and the International Year of the Periodic Table, IUPAC and IYCN announce the creation of a Periodic Table of Younger Chemists. They will honor a diverse group of 118 outstanding younger chemists from around the world who in embody the mission and core values of IUPAC.
EYCN PERIODIC TABLE VIDEO COMPETITION
The European Young Chemists' Network (EYCN) organizes the second edition of the video competition Chemistry Rediscovered in 2019 in honour of the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements (IYPT2019). For this competition, young chemists (12-35 years old) from all over Europe are invited to send in creative videos of maximum 90 seconds on the theme 'In Your Element'.
Mendeleev Mosaic, a companion project Timeline of Elements project by the University of Waterloo. Wanted artwork images of Dmitri Mendeleev by students, teachers and all chemistry enthusiast to create one large mosaic of the Father of the Periodic Table.

PERIODIC TABLE IN CROCHET
The School of Sciences of the University of Minho joins the celebrations of 2019 - The International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements decreed by the UN with a series of activities, among them the production of a giant Periodic Table in crochet with more than 15 square meters. This project is coordinated by STOL - Science Through Our Lives (Alexandra Nobre / firstname.lastname@example.org)) and involves the active participation of around 80 volunteers from Europe, America and Australia. Once ready, the Periodic Table will be exposed in public space accompanied by the name of all those involved in its execution. More indications will be given in due course.
MAKE YOUR OWN PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS
In this event, the students will be try to be creative to make a periodic table of elements. There is no limitation for them. They can use every thing to construct the creative periodic table. The tables which fabricated by students will be judge by referee team and will be presented in a festival called "International year of periodic table of elements" in university of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Iran. There is cash award for the winners. This competition encourages chemistry students to be creative for presentation of periodic table.
